I'm Going To Get Shot For This One And I Understand but I honestly found Kuroda's delivery got a bit one-note outside of his big acting moments for most of the series (although he pretty much agrees and has improved immensely over time), so it's admittedly not too "high-stakes" for me, I guess? Like I love him, the voice is iconic etc etc., but it's a lower bar to clear for me than with like, Ichiban. Aside from Kurylo because I never really liked his take, I'd probably have been happy with just about anyone lmao

But like I said, I'm actually excited! Yong really seems to get it, everyone's energy was infectious, and I'm even (tentatively) excited for KSON's hostess stuff and her return in 8 even if live action segments in RGG Historically give me the heebie jeebies. i didnt redo all of the skills on the first post, cause it took me several days to work all this out lmao. a lot of the skills are similar, but i think thered have to be some differences.

flock, that you mentioned is their version of esprit de corps, which i think is extra funny that it talks about narinder because it implies to me that lamb thinks of nari as a work friend for the start

shivers is replaced by the lurking beast, in the og game its connection to the city, but to lamb its more like listening to their animal instincts about the lands that belong to them.

visual calculus isnt really something i think lamb would have, so instead they have grimoire which functions similarly but enables them to pick up, understand, and work out magic.

what do u think the characters would wear on halloween, like to trick or treat(or wear for the vibes)

raps & eugene always match(sometimes if rapunzel can persuade her, cassie will match too), same w hugo and varian, but all of them dont go trick-or-treating, usually they stay home and give out candy or go to raps' party lol(or both depending on how theyre feelinh yk). when theyve done the trio, i cant stop thinking about cass, eugene, and raps beinh the mean girls trio... like regina, karen, and gretchen😭🙏 and hugo and varian have probably done nerdy ones(or, hear me out, seymore & audrey || from little shop of horrors)

frs, lance & the girls probably go as a big trio, or the girls do completely different costumes and lance just wears a funny halloween shirt(or dresses up as a character he likes), kiera has been a ninja turtle at least once(i feel like shed like tmnt idk...) and catalina was batman one year and everyone kept complementing her

Yes absolutely Rapunzel and Eugene always do cutesy couples costumes, and she makes them herself so they’re always high quality and perfect. She posts them on insta and everyone is jealous. (They absolutely did do Bridgerton one year and she looked like a goddess.) Maybe I’m just a big nerd, but I feel like they’d do a lot of historical couples costumes. They definitely did Hades and Persephone one year.

I honestly can’t see Varian being the type to dress up unless he’s forced (by Rapunzel), same with Hugo. But sometimes they’ll do half-assed couples costumes if they go to Rapunzel’s party. It’s usually just a thrift store cosplay lmao. One year they did Gatsby and Daisy because the guy who plays Gatsby on Broadway sounds a lot like Varian for some reason…. Varian probably dressed up as a bunch of scientists barely anyone even knows of as a kid, though. (I feel like it would be really funny if New Dream and Varigo dressed as eachother one year hehe.)

Lance, I think he either just wears a Halloween t-shirt or he coordinates costumes with the girls, because I feel like they’d want to match sometimes. And if not, maybe he just puts on a fun mask. I feel like he goes all out for Raps’ parties though. He definitely has dressed as David Bowie on multiple separate occasions.

Cat absolutely went through a wolf phase. And did dress up as a wolf, a lot. Kiera dressed as a vampire one year to match her.

Cass doesn’t dress up unless she’s forced both mentally and physically. (She dressed up as Joan Of Arc for three straight Halloweens as a kid. And then Artemis for another three.)

these vary in recent-ness,, im in school and im left with very little time to draw, so some of these are from a month or two ago ;; but i only picked what i think still looks good ^^ some are quick doodles, others are unfinished, or even just drawings to test techniques (like the colored shinichi one)- and the second drawing isnt even detco LMAO

OKAY, FINALLY, THE MOMENT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!! Welcome, my Grills, Dills, and Nonbinary Eels, to my pride art event!

This is how its all gonna go down! Im going to be doing a pride drawing, of my Oc Ameryllis. Due to some of you wanting to help out in some way, I'll be accepting your OWN drawings of him.

This will go up untill the 18th, which gives you all about a week to submit them.

All references I have of Ameryllis will be posted below, along with text descriptions because my handwriting is shit lmao. You do NOT have to participate if you dont want to.

Also, drawing your own ocs with him is welcome! I dont care what your drawings are, as long as they involve my fruity child. Feel free to ask any questions if needed!!! Also, buckle up, this is a long post. Alrighty *cracks fingers one at a time* Here we go!

A small description of Ameryllis to help get into his character: He was orginally my dolortale metta. Hes long since became his own character(though i may still use him as his orginal role), and i have unfortunately lost his metta design.

Anywho, Ameryllis represents the stage of acceptance in the stages of grief, hence the flowers hes named after. He has a GREAT love for theater, and uses this to help the undergound cope. He might seem stuck up and arrogant at glance, but this isnt the case. Though its incredibly hard to crack open his shell and see the real him. At first, hes a little cold, and hardly ever smiles, this making him hard to read as his emotions are very subtle, though his smug and dramatic demeanor shines through anyhow. Once you get to know him better, you'll find him showing that ever so slight smile more often, and youll see that hes really a total sweetheart, even if he has trouble showing it.( TSUNDERE). Even so hes very much a bitch, one that takes pride in how he dresses, and knows how to appreciate himself. ENOUGH OF THAT, BACK TO THE REFFS!!!!

Okay, so after Kristoph was labelled as a criminal in the Trucy Gavin Au. Did his bond with Trucy gotten worse or better? I want to know how he felt when Trucy wants to get revenge on Apollo for him. Despite her feelings of hatred of not loving her. Additional question. What's Trucy's relationship with Klavier?

ANYWAY!! It’s… idk the best way to describe how Kristoph feels about Trucy in the Au. Because imo to say he doesn’t love her is wrong. He… cares in a sense. But saying he genuinely and truly loves her… saying yes isnt right either. So if he thinks their bond gets better, well. He’s at least proud of her— her first case was defending him on the murder of Shadi Smith after Apollo pinned him as the true murderer in Turnabout Trump. She got him a not guilty thanks to a lack of evidence. And there’s something satisfying about her hatred of that young upstart Apollo Justice kid, hearing her complain about how dare that defense attorney claim that Kristoph is the true murderer. Her daddy can’t be a murderer.

Saying Trucy hates Kristoph in the Au is also not entirely true. If you asked if she loves him and if she thinks he loves her, she’d answer yes to both questions without hesitation out loud. But in truth… it’s complicated. He told her there’s no future in being a magician, she shouldn’t waste her time on silly magic tricks. He told her she should be focused on her studies, should be working hard to become a defense attorney at such a young age, she shouldn’t spend so much time goofing off. It hurts, but he’s right, isn’t he? All magic has done was make her lose her old parents. Besides, Kristoph took her in after her other daddy left her. He gave her a nice life, gave her the best education. Surely he cares for her. Surely he loves her.

Overall, to say they love each other isn’t a definite yes, but it’s not a no either. It’s complicated. And admittedly based on my own feelings when it comes to my own parents LMAO

Her relationship with Klavier is pretty great tho!! She loves her Uncle Klav, and Klavier adores her! Whenever he comes to visit, he gives her the most extra gifts, and he loves to show her songs from the Gavinners before they officially release, and she loves to perform magic tricks for him!! He also babysat her a lot when she was younger and she enjoyed it because it meant she didn’t have to study on those nights. I actually have a comic planned out that I started drawing that highlights the type of relationship they have along with their own complicated feelings about Kristoph. Hopefully I actually get that done soon lol.

this blogs anniversary is coming up on the 27th which is CRAZY so heres a wip of an anniversary piece and also an explanation as to why i suddenly dropped off the face of the earth

tbh 90% of the reason ive been gone is bc i moved out and started up university, theres kinda a lot going on in my life rn but the main gist of it is that my program is super intensive to the point where ive had basically no time or energy to draw basically anything, let alone update this blog LMAO

and then i just kinda stopped checking tumblr or most of my social medias for a hot minute but thats another story anyways i wont lie the last couple updates i did back in august felt more like an obligation for me to do rather than something i was actively motivated to work on and i decided that i dont want to put in all this effort to keep updating when i don't have the motivation to do it because the last thing i want is to put out a half assed story not only for u guys but for me

I honestly don’t plan to do that, truth be told I was initially very hesitant to publicly link my ao3 to my art account at all tjfk writing is a skill I’ve only just started brushing up on (I’ve always done it, but never seriously and not with the intent of making stuff that was to be seen by the public, and definitely haven’t studied it the way I have art) and it’s taking me a bit, still, to not feel embarrassed enough by everything I put out to not even want my name on it. I’d rather keep my art and my writing separate! If I were to I would have to make an account specifically for that, but honestly, that would only come if I felt the need to archive my stuff and not actively partecipate in the community anymore? I don’t know how to explain it. Obviously I’m still gonna keep posting my stuff even if Twitter crumbles, I’m trying to find an equivalent alternative still, and I don’t blame anyone for wanting to leave that dumpster fire, I’m just the kind of person who’s very hesitant to leave a place once I’ve figured out how it works - I honestly don’t know where else to put my nsfw if it does crumble into dust, tho. I might start posting previews on Tumblr with links to privatter in that case (they say they don’t allow nsfw but until they actively come down and delete my posts themselves, honestly, I’m gonna treat it like it is ok. After all all my posts there come with a disclaimer warning about 18+ themes and every potential CW present in the image so, I don’t think there’s anything morally wrong with that.)? bad ign reporting aside, i was also pretty upset at first since no femc and the answer! but then i saw a good point someone made about the femc case:

persona 3 reload has reportedly been in development for four years. and in that four years thats standard time to build a game from the ground up, maybe even too little – anyone who's been in game dev can tell us that. p3re doesnt reuse assets, too, it's completely from scratch. so having femc isnt simply a matter of model swap. they'd also have to program the UIs and make everything pink - sure, that could be "easy", but there's also the changed social links and team dynamics (more writing to be done), weapon system and all that (more coding)? so its like... i'd be actually surprised if they managed a femc during those 4 years. its quite a lot of work to re-adapt base p3 as is i feel and modernizing it. also i feel like atlus themselves wouldnt want to do their character and her fanbase wrong so of course they wouldnt fkn slap on a few pink menus and call it a day. they surely want to rewrite the s links and everything too in accordance to her. art takes time.

(with all that being said bullying atlus for femc is warranted actually maybe then her inevitable dlc might come faster lmao )

similarly, im fine with no "the answer" now despite being its #1 defender. theyd have to completely rework the 30:2 hour grinding to story ratio which is just not sustainable on a modern gameplay perspective. that also takes time.

its why i made this post actually. i somehow trust them, and i feel like most of us can stand to chill a little and have healthier expectations. as in not overbloated and not have the bar set in hell either (altho we should also do that too)

and i know, like anyone who's played this game, it means so much to so many people. and thats why its maybe impossible to please everyone, because its so many different things: a game that saved their life, a funny goofy lighthearted one where you catch demons, the most depressing persona game ever (altho i feel like p2 would beg to differ on that one-), or for me personally, a game that just made me cry man.

and because it means so much, everyone wants to see it be the best it can be!! and that means having hamuchan. i get that all of this riot energy is out of love for the game, really. but. yeah.

a remake seems like it's "less work to do" since the foundation's "already there" and i dont know how many people worked on p3re but like. i highly doubt theyre just sitting on their asses pissing off fans on purpose lol. (or maybe they are and im just too optimistic damn 😭)

i adored jang bong hwan (and their theme song is a bop, i still loop it on spotify), shin hye sun's incredible performance, the maid sidekicks, and when it was doing comedy it was 100

but jesus christ the political plots were such a gd chore to get through. i felt like someone was frankensteining a wacky and wild fusion sageuk (that was fun! and enjoyable!) with a palace drama that was as engaging as watching overnight oats ferment. the jo family was annoying. the kim family was annoying. it was just tedious machination after machination and none of it was particularly imaginative or compelling (and, like. i made it through princess weiyoung with 0 fastforwarding so clearly i can deal with circular palace politics). i was so annoyed by consort jo. and super unpopular opinion, but the male lead did absolutely nothing for me in this drama either and i found him really unpalatable for a good chunk of the show (which is wild, because the actor plays one of my favorite MLs in another drama)

and the ending...sort of forgot to include the title character for a good chunk of it. bong hwan was done so dirty in terms of character resolution and the romance post-transmigration came off kind of yikes for me with kim so young returning (also the body horror component of someone regaining consciousness/agency in their now pregnant body i just. if you're going to include these elements address them????)

idk it had some high notes and it was really charming at the beginning of the drama. but then it spiraled down a well (that fucking well. oy.)

our beloved summer

ON PAPER THIS IS EVERYTHING I LOVE. second chance romances are my favorites. bickering couples are my favorites. having to work with the ex is my favorite. i loved the 3/4 of the main actors that i knew from other dramas (kim sung cheol is a particular favorite!), the OST is amazing (another set of songs i still loop on spotify!), and the art direction and acting were also great. i remember really enjoying the first half-ish of the show.

but it totally lost me in the second half with the writing. im trying to remember specifics, because it's been over a year since i've watched it, but i recall the distinct impression that the couple was really setting themselves up for the same shit down the road regarding their communication, their differing emotional needs, and their other issues. at the end when they revealed they were getting married my first reaction wasnt YAY LOVE but rather oh fuck not again. i left watching the show thinking both the leads would be better off if they tried dating other people-- it felt like they outgrew the other and the show didnt do a good enough job of convincing me that they would be able to make it work this time around. from ep 11ish onwards, it was frustrating and annoying to watch and the only reason i made it through all 16 eps is because i was watching it with a friend

i also remember there was this totally "?!" subplot/reveal about the ML basically being adopted as a replacement goldfish for his parents' deceased son and it was in focus for like 2 eps despite how deeply deeply fucked up that whole premise was (obs isnt unique in a "trauma focus of the week" kdrama narrative, it just struck out as glaringly bad to me for some reason this time around)

hiii i’ve been collecting stupid takes about the beef and i want to share them here’s my list so far:

it was manufactured for publicity. yeah makes sense. drake had been getting FANTASTIC publicity since the beef i can see why he’d engage with something so beneficial to his career. it’s for the pr 👍

it was a distraction from palestine (if you’re able to let anything fully distract you from a genecide then oof you need to do better 😬)

kendrick / someone associated with him got a kid to artificially increase streams of not like us. as if there’s a reason,,, or a need for that. drizzy glazers stay coping POORLY.

kendrick is fake / performative because he had dre (only one of the biggest and most influential figures in west coast hip hop) up on stage with him. even though he’s a bad person.

just a moment ago while scrolling through the kendrick tag i came across a post saying that he’s dumb if he doesn’t release his most commercial / digestible album ever. to capitalize on this situation. also suggesting that the reason kendrick went after drake was because he wants to be him. or something. i um. damn. okay. i mean the op did admit to being team drizzy. so.

just the general misunderstanding of the whole thing especially the pop out. i mean there obviously is an element of hatred and hostility but if you actually listen to the lyrics and the message behind everything kendrick has done in the past couple months then it’s clear there’s much more to it. hating drake and what he stands for (or rather lack of what he stands for) seems to have become more of a rallying point and a genesis for love and unity and culture as opposed to the ENTIRE point ykwim? i don’t think it takes a lot to recognize it’s deeper than kendrick being a hashtag hater. kendrick is an incredibly deep and intelligent man and if you think he put on a show like the pop out just because Hater™️ then you’re not paying attention.

kendrick is one of those artists that just has so much substance and intellect behind his work that the general public doesn’t Get ykwim? yet there’s the dichotomy of being one of the biggest most popular hip hop stars ever. artists like that are interesting and i feel bad for them.

1-this fight had been coming a long time, drake sneak dissing and kendricks possible references to drake and how back to back opposites they are on how they live, maybe drake thought itd be good pr in the first songs but it was just kendrick grabbing the chance by the balls to kill a man who is everything he stands against

2-palestine distraction stuff was weird as hell. people dont see hiphop and black artists as respectable so they cant grasp the importance of the moment, what it means for the entire entertainment industry.

3-just lies lmao kendrick doesnt move like that + that song is all natural

4-okay so dre. i talk myelf in circles about this so let me summarize it into a single sentence: I THINK, kendrick taking up the mantle, the torch, the favor of people from these men and giving it new life as the successor, better, kinder, smarter in his art, is objectively a good thing. it doesnt have to go deeper.

5&6 okay so kendrick ISNT going commercial and he ISNT the fucking dmx interview reference. you spend all your career explaining you think of your art as a tool for betterment, help for those who need it, how you were saved by community and god and self inteospection and you believe in loving yourself and your people into healing and freedom and people still say stupid shit. hes deep when hes on a radio hit and hes deep when hes on a poem. leave him aloneee
